German Work Experience. Vocational Training Program

Courses, Fees and Accommodation in

Learn German and complete a vocational training (Berufsausbildung) in Germany. Our schools in Berlin, Munich and Cologne offer a special program that combines a German course with a vocational training in Germany. You can choose from various professions in different areas, such as baker’s craft, horticulture, nursing care and many more. The German vocational training is a well-respected professional education that consists in theoretical as well as practical training in the chosen profession.
The vocational training will be completed in a German company. To successfully pass the vocational education our courses provide you with a good knowledge of the German language. The dual system is firmly established in the German education system. The main characteristic of the dual system is the cooperation between mainly small and medium sized companies, on the one hand, and publicly funded vocational schools, on the other. Trainees in the dual system typically spend part of each week at a vocational school and the other part at a company, or they may spend longer periods at each place before alternating. Dual trainings usually last two to three-and-a-half years. Our program offers a service to apply to up to three German companies for the vocational training and prepares you with a German course up to the required level.

Steps of the Vocational Training Program

01
Registration for German & vocational training program
Please complete the registration form for the German program and the vocational training program. The duration of the German program is determined according to the level of German you have. To obtain the visa it is necessary to open a blocked bank account. It is possible to open this account with different providers such as Fintiba or Expatrio. Before requesting the visa, you have to deposit €853 into this account for each month your German course will last. This money is supposed to secure the daily life in Germany. It will be possible to withdraw €853 monthly. Depending on your country of origin, you might not need a blocked bank account but only a bank statement. Please clarify with your local German embassy.
