Munich

The capital of Bavaria is a charming city at the foot of the Alps, famous for the Oktoberfest and loved for its relaxed atmosphere. Sightseeing tours often start at “Marienplatz”, the very city center
(3 minutes walk to our school) with its impressing neogothic city hall, and show the visitors countless baroque churches, neoclassic buildings from the early 19th century and the castle “Schloss Nymphenburg” with its lovely park. In summer you can make new friends in a beer garden, enjoy one of the many lakes in the surroundings of Munich or simply relax in the “Englischer Garten”. Snow covers the city in wintertime. People go sledging in “Olympia Park” or skiing in the nearby Alps. Don’t miss the popular “Christkindl Markets” where you can experience traditional Christmas ambience and buy nice gifts. Soccer matches at the famous new Allianz Arena, sports facilities at the Olympic site, exhibitions in museums and galleries, theatres, cinemas, fairs, concerts, discos – Munich really has it all and will quickly become your home away from home.

Social Activities

The optional participation in 3 activities per week is included in the course price (except your own expenses for e.g. admission or transportation tickets). We offer a highly varied program of social activities, which allows you to improve your German, make new friends from all over the world and simply enjoy yourself. You will have the chance to meet people at the many events we organize in our school: parties, film shows and international evenings. Outside of school you will have the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of German life and culture. We organize guided sightseeing tours and visits to museums, to cultural and sports events, to pubs and discos as well as excursions to “must have seen” places which you should not miss to visit during your stay in our country.

Comments of former students:

"I enjoyed the course a lot. Found the classes very interesting and very helpful, and my german has improved greatly. All the people, teachers, students etc. are very friendly and I have had no problems and a lot of fun. I enjoyed my experience and would definately stay longer if I could. I would and I will recommend this course to people when I go back to Ireland. Vielen Dank!"

"The course has enabled me not only to speak German, but to have whole conversations in German. It's a great way to boost your confidence and in the process, meet great people and yet to know another culture very well. I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to be more confident with speaking another language and have fun while doing it."
